Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to join our owner-side quality program. You will oversee surveillance, review inspection records, and report quality status to the project quality lead, supporting the project rather than a contractor's QC crew.

Your weekly rhythm alternates between field assessments and document reviews, ensuring records align with project requirements and client expectations. Travel to active jobsites is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
