Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will review contractor QC plans, surveillance activities, and inspection records, and report findings to the project quality lead.

You will alternate field and document work, witness hold points, track nonconformances, and ensure timely closure of audit items. Travel to project sites may be required per assignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certifications such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP are a strong plus.
• Able to read specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identify gaps.
• Strong written communication of findings.
• Highly organized with document-heavy workloads.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
