A leading company is seeking a Program Manager to oversee planning and execution of projects across various domains. The role involves managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring timely delivery, and fostering continuous improvement. Candidates should have extensive experience in program management and a strong understanding of both Agile and waterfall methodologies. Organize and lead planning activities to create a release/program roadmap. Ensure all teams align with enterprise planning expectations. Define launch strategies for new product capabilities, including geographic scope, rollouts, timing, ramp, and analytics plans. Manage stakeholder groups proactively to establish interdependencies, identify risks and resource constraints, and eliminate significant roadblocks promptly. Collaborate effectively with leaders and stakeholders to address key issues and roadblocks. Develop measurable KPIs aligned with overall product KPIs. Create and manage clear Gating Criteria with business partners for Go/No-go decisions. Maintain regular communication with adjacent programs and external stakeholders, including international regions. Identify and address program impediments, escalating as needed. Lead program retrospectives and foster continuous improvement. Manage program implementation in accordance with PayPal's product lifecycle management. Ensure effective governance and stakeholder management, understanding timelines, resources, risks, contentions, and dependencies. Continuously assess and improve methodologies to support deployment schedules.
Responsibilities include understanding business requirements, translating and implementing scalable solutions using applicable tools and processes, and driving execution across project phases, connecting engineering with architecture, partners, and product teams. Manage inter-dependent projects in Agile and waterfall environments, automate dashboards and metrics, and ensure timely delivery with documented KPIs. Lead operational excellence activities to streamline data science deliveries, manage project communications across domains, and ensure project delivery aligns with goals.
Experience with MPP, Smartsheet, Clarizen.
Minimum 9+ years of experience. Postgraduate degree preferred. Scrum, PMP, or SAFE certifications are a plus.
