Job summary

Alstom in New York, NY is searching for a full-time onsite Project Product Introduction Manager to lead the PI function within the project core team, ensuring processes are implemented and delivered in line with the Warranty/PI Management Plan.

You will manage the PI deliverables, drive reliability growth with the customer, coordinate field experience, and ensure compliance with EHS and AZDP standards, while leading diverse teams to successful product introduction activities.

Qualifications

  • RAM principles knowledge and application to reliability.
  • Experience with data analytics for field data and NCRs.
  • Experience in incident management processes and follow-up.

  • Manage the full Project Warranty Work Package.
  • Drive reliability growth with the customer and internally to meet contractual targets.
  • Capture and feed back field experience (REX) during start-up, design, realization, and field support phases.
  • Deliver all PI-related deliverables on time and per contract and PI standards.
  • Establish strategy and mobilization plan for commissioning and warranty periods.
  • Implement incident management to follow up NCRs and close open items.
  • Manage PI staff and ensure adequate resources for PI deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with AZDP and EHS requirements for all customer site activities.

Could you be the full‑time onsite Project Product Introduction Manager in New York, NY, US we’re looking for?

Responsibilities
  • Represent the PI function within the Project Core Team and in front of the customer.
  • Ensure PI processes and instructions are implemented, communicated, used, and supported both internally and externally, as formalized in the Warranty/PI Management Plan.
  • Manage the full Project Warranty Work Package.
  • Drive reliability growth with the customer and internally to achieve the contractual reliability target, ensuring rectifications for delivered products.
  • Capture and feed back field experience and field‑data (REX) to the project/organization during start‑up, design, realization (manufacturing), and field support phases.
  • Deliver all PI‑related deliverables in a timely manner and in accordance with contract and PI standards through planning, communication, and control.
  • Establish the strategy and mobilization plan for commissioning and warranty periods, including defining and agreeing on the use of the customer’s infrastructure.
  • Implement an incident management process to follow up on Non‑Conformity Reports (NCRs) and ensure closure of open items, field modifications/retrofits, and reporting.
  • Manage project‑dedicated PI staff and ensure adequate resources are available to produce PI deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and customer EHS requirements for all customer site activities with the support of EHS team representatives.
Qualifications
  • Electrical engineering degree (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Experience or understanding of project execution in technical or industrial environments.
  • Experience in supporting transit authorities or rail transit agencies (strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) principles.
  • Experience in influencing reliability growth (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with data analytics and incident management processes.
  • Strong communication and customer care skills.
  • Team management experience, including leading diverse teams.
  • Field experience in commissioning, warranty, or product introduction activities.
  • Problem‑solving skills with a focus on resilience and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and practices.
  • Ability to identify and manage obsolescence risks effectively.

Salary Range

$130,000 - $145,000 USD
