Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Procurement Representative 3 in Overland Park, KS to support project teams with complex procurement activities, including equipment, services, and subcontracts. This role offers hybrid work options and growth within a 100% ESOP-owned company.

You will manage bidding processes, supplier communications, and contract documentation while coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in procurement or related field.
• Able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, etc.).
• BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical/Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the project team with complex procurement transaction activities (equipment, services and subcontracts).
• Support other procurement duties including expediting, administration, closeout and proposal development.
• Lead bidding processes, negotiate terms, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams.
