Job Description:
The Project Procurement Manager oversees all procurement functions on a large Rail and Transit project, including purchasing, expediting, supplier data control, supplier quality, and traffic.
Program background
The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure project in the country, involving rail investments to improve commuter and intercity services, add resilience, and create new capacity between Newark, New Jersey, and New York City. The first phase includes the Hudson Tunnel Project, which involves constructing a new tunnel under the Hudson River and rehabilitating the existing North River Tunnel. The Gateway Development Commission manages the financing and development of this project.
As a tri-venture partner with Parsons, Arcadis, and Mace, MPA provides advice, leadership, and support to GDC for the HTP development and implementation, under a 15-year master service contract covering strategic advisory, project management, design, construction, stakeholder coordination, federal compliance, operations support, and related services.
