Job summary

PARSETEK INC seeks a procurement professional to develop solicitation specifications for TDEC and to advise on procurement strategies. The role involves engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliant and effective contracts.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of procurement or contract management experience, with strong knowledge of RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5 to 10 years of business, procurement, or contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and assists divisions in solicitation specifications based on internal and external sources of information.
• Possesses and demonstrates strong knowledge of policies, procedures and execution strategy for multiple solicitation methods including Request for Proposal, Request for Qualification, and Request for Information.
• Regularly represents TDEC and the division of Grants and Contracts while speaking with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provides strategic advice and consultation to agency procurement and program staff to determine the proper methods of procurement as well as strategy development and execution of procurement activities.
