Job summary

Spincraft is seeking a Project/Process Engineer in Massachusetts to lead cost estimates, conceptual tool and process design, and full project development from design through first article shipment. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers to deliver customer-driven solutions on time and under budget.

The role requires a mechanical/manufacturing engineering background, 2–5 years of experience, and proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, or fabrication is a plus.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other related software.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and willing to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new projects from design through first article shipment meeting customer requirements.
• Develop cost estimates for new and repeat projects.
• Create manufacturing documentation (BOMs, routings, sketches) using SolidWorks and other tools.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, and suppliers to develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with schedules and project status updates using MS Project.
