Your Role

This role is a critical member of the portfolio management office, acting as the primary point of contact for all incoming requests. Working with various stakeholders across the organization, this role will support the submission of accurate requests, assist in the intake review process, and maintain an accurate backlog.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Facilitating the demand intake process by capturing, assessing, and prioritizing requests
  • Serving as the primary contact for all incoming requests into the portfolio management office
  • Supporting stakeholders in refining demand requests to improve decision-making
  • Ensuring demand requests align with CSAA strategy and budgetary constraints
  • Assisting in portfolio governance risk assessments
  • Preparing reports and dashboards for leadership during intake review meetings
  • Maintaining and coordinating the demand backlog
  • Providing regular updates on demand and portfolio status to leadership and business units
  • Aligning schedules and fulfilling demands across workstreams
  • Supporting requests through governing bodies as needed
  • Identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
Required Experience, Education, and Skills
  • Typically requires 4 years of related professional experience and a 4-year college degree or equivalent
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of intake and project lifecycle processes
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives
  • Experience with portfolio management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheets)
  • Ability to support organizational change and demonstrate value
  • Proactive in assessing risks, business needs, and prioritizing demands
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in Six Sigma, process reengineering, or process improvement
  • Active participation in fostering company culture through resource groups or volunteering
  • Willingness to travel as required for meetings and team events
  • Flexibility to invest extra time to meet business needs and support teams
