Bangor University is seeking a suitable candidate for a role requiring background in outreach and mentoring within an educational context. The post is located on campus at Bangor or Wrexham University, with a Dynamic Working framework offering some UK remote time to support balance and interview discussions.

The successful candidate should have appropriate educational qualifications and a professional accreditation relevant to the role, and must obtain an enhanced DBS check before appointment.

• A professional qualification or accreditation relevant to the role is expected.
• Experience of outreach engagement and mentoring with Reaching Wider cohorts is required.

Candidates should be educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A level or NVQ level 4 in a relevant subject area, hold a professional qualification or accreditation relevant to the role, and have experience of outreach engagement and or mentoring programmes with Reaching Wider target cohorts in an educational context.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this role.

The successful candidate will be required to commence as soon as possible and the post is available until 31/07/2027.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor or Wrexham University.

Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
