Job summary

Innovative Technology Partnerships (ITP), a Cogent Security Company, seeks a Project Monitor II to support the DOE SCEP Workforce Development programs from Golden, CO. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business field with relevant experience.
• Minimum of six years of relevant experience; Master’s may substitute for two years.
• Demonstrated experience standing up workforce development or training programs end to end.
• Experience with DOE, DOL, or Federal workforce programs preferred.
• Residence in the Washington, D.C. metro area or willingness for onsite work 2–3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned Energy Workforce Development awards, monitoring progress and ensuring compliance.
• Evaluate program designs for scalability and timeliness.
• Advise recipients on launch sequencing, partner engagement, recruitment, and operational elements.
• Assess enrollment, completion, credentialing, and placement outcomes against milestones.
• Monitor budgets, scope, and timelines; maintain project documentation in DOE systems.
• Prepare briefings, memos, and presentations for the federal team; support meetings.
