Summary

The Project Manager works closely with customers and vendors, and is responsible for oversight of the concept, design, manufacture, repair, and installation of equipment, whether new or upgraded.

What You'll Do
  • Solve customer problems through designing new equipment or modifying existing ones.
  • Manage multiple projects through different stages of design and implementation.
  • Oversee rebuild projects from arrival to shipment, working with customer and plant personnel, including inspection reports, quoting repairs, procuring materials, and final inspections.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and shop personnel to ensure all components are acquired.
  • Support production during the implementation of designs.
  • Assist customers with questions regarding supplied equipment.
  • Create reports on customer issues or recommended equipment.
  • Perform inspections, installations, startups, rebuilds, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate with engineering personnel and prepare design modifications as needed.
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of project management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills.
  • Multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
