Summary

The Project Manager works closely with customers and vendors and is responsible for overseeing the concept, design, manufacture, repair, and installation of equipment.

What you'll do

  • Solve customer problems through the design or modification of existing equipment.
  • Manage multiple projects through different stages of design and implementation.
  • Oversee rebuild projects from arrival to shipment, working with customer and plant personnel – including inspection reports upon disassembly, quoting repairs, procuring materials, and final inspection reports.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and shop personnel to ensure all necessary components are acquired.
  • Support production during the implementation of designs.
  • Assist customers with questions regarding supplied equipment.
  • Create reports on customer issues or recommended equipment improvements.
  • Perform inspections, installations, startups, rebuilds, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate with engineering personnel and prepare design modifications as needed.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of project management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent planning and scheduling skills.
  • Time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
