First Bank is seeking an Implementation Project Manager in Miami, Florida. The role encompasses coordinating and completing various project tasks, with an emphasis on revenue-driven process improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably with software implementations. A Bachelor's degree is required, and knowledge of Bank products is a must. Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are highly valued.
The Implementation Project Manager fulfils a dual role with focus on revenue driven/process improvement and operations projects. The Implementation Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing project progress. The Implementation Project Manager also analyzes, participates and recommends new processes, products and budget strategies. Steps in the implementation process include setting goals, planning, and monitoring progress to completion. Along the way, the Implementation Project Manager oversees tasks, creates planning timelines, monitors budget and serves as a liaison between IT and other team members, external stakeholders, and/or senior management. On certain projects he/she will act as project manager and in others will complete and implement tasks at hand.
The degree of judgment is related to the compilation and/or presentation of information; data processing and/or presentation of possible recommendations; integration and coordination of varied elements and its application to specific subjects; identification and definition of new problems of moderate complexity; and continuous analysis of specialized and complex subjects.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
