Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in Florida, delivering water/wastewater projects within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining client satisfaction and safety standards.

You will drive growth by pursuing new contracts, building strong client relationships, and guiding strategic account planning for a diversified client base in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible Project Management experience with Water/Wastewater treatment and municipal consulting.
• Florida-registered Professional Engineer (PE) or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics.
• Excellent oral and written communication, self-motivation, and teamwork.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships that lead to new or repeat work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internally with sales, operations, and legal for contract delivery and pursuit activities.

• Lead with innovation and expertise, guiding multidisciplinary teams through the intricacies of project lifecycle management, ensuring every initiative meets its designated targets for scope, schedule, budget, and beyond

• Ignite growth and opportunity, leveraging your strategic insight to secure new contracts through compelling proposals, engaging presentations, and effective negotiations, all founded on deep market understanding and client needs
• Contribute to the development of a Florida Market Action Plan that delivers leading-edge technology solutions for our clients while also actively diversifying and expanding our client base.

• Lead the development, maintenance, and advancement of your client's relationship. This will include developing the strategy of the account, helping determine which opportunities to pursue, owning the Go/No-Go process, and influencing the win strategy

Specific tasks will include

• Lead a multiple-disciplinary team in delivering projects that exceed client expectations while managing the budget and meeting gross margin goals
• Driving growth with your client, working closely with the project team for overall client satisfaction from the client relationship through final project delivery
• Leading key pursuit activities during opening, middle, and end game, working closely with sales operations
• Building relationships with your client through face-to-face meetings and participating in professional events
• Leading internal coordination through working directly with the sales team on overall client strategy, with Operations for project delivery, and coordination on pursuits with sales operations (cost, risk), and with legal regarding contracting
• Obtaining and distilling feedback and other indicators that may influence middle game actions.

Here’s what you'll need

• B.S. or M.S. degree in related engineering or applicable discipline.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible Project Management experience with Water/Wastewater treatment and Conveyance projects and municipal consulting.
• Florida-registered Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history of leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations.
• Attributes that include good oral and written communication, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem-solving, and a strong organizational approach.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work.
• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams.

The base salary range for this position is $123,000.00 to $153,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
