Job summary

MPI in East Texas is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and key client relationships, while coordinating with Superintendents to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of PM experience with a commercial GC and a strong grasp of financials, scheduling, and contract administration.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience managing mixed commercial construction projects is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and client relationships.
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure efficient project execution and schedule adherence.

Description

The Project Manager will report to senior operational leadership and be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of commercial construction projects throughout East Texas.

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

Profile

For the Project Manager - Commercial Construction we are seeking:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Experience managing mixed commercial construction projects is required
  • Light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or tilt-wall construction experience preferred
  • Proven experience delivering projects valued between approximately $5M and $30M+
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Experience working collaboratively with field operations and Superintendents
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Stable career history with a demonstrated commitment to professional growth
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
