Job summary

MPI seeks a Project Manager in Minnesota to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation, while maintaining client relationships with architects and engineers.

You will oversee safety, progress reporting, and financial performance on ground-up and renovation projects valued between $3M and $10M, contributing to the firm’s growth in the Minnesota market.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects.
  • Experience with retail, banking, financial institution, or similar commercial projects preferred.
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cost management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

The Successful Applicant
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects
  • Experience with retail, banking, financial institution, or similar commercial projects preferred
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cost management skills
  • Ability to develop estimates and manage project financial performance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • Stable work history with demonstrated tenure and career progression
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Local Charlotte market experience strongly preferred
