Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Project Manager to lead fast-paced tenant improvement projects across Orange County, CA. You will oversee from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, design teams, and in-house staff to keep schedules and budgets on track.

The role requires 3–12 years of experience in commercial construction with a focus on tenant improvements, strong knowledge of MEP systems, and proficiency in Procore. A hands-on leader who communicates clearly will thrive.

Qualifications

• 3–12 years of experience managing commercial construction projects (tenant improvements).
• Experience delivering work in life sciences, healthcare, higher education, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and coordination in tight, schedule-driven conditions.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams on active sites.
• Procore proficiency preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to lead meetings and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project scheduling, subcontractor management, cost control, and logistics planning.
• Handle subcontractor buyout and contract execution with estimating and operations.
• Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and pay apps.
• Interface with clients, design teams, consultants, and in-house staff to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Proactively identify issues and drive resolution to maintain schedule, quality, and budget targets.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and support field teams.
