Job summary

UST is seeking a Project Manager / Technical Product Owner to lead technology projects and act as the technical liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

You will define scope, manage backlogs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning technical solutions with business objectives. The role requires strong communication and experience with Agile methods and SDLC.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in: Project Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a related technology role.
  • Experience managing software development or technology projects.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with technical and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to understand software architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud or enterprise technology concepts.
  • Strong experience managing project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Experience creating and managing product backlogs, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, architects, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Identify potential blockers and proactively drive their resolution.
  • Manage project priorities and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate project meetings, planning sessions, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure proper project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
  • Act as the technical point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Define and maintain product priorities and backlog.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand solution options, dependencies, and limitations.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and provide business and technical context.
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
  • Review proposed solutions and help ensure alignment with technical and business objectives.
  • Support product releases, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.

You Are:

The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with a solid technical understanding of software development, application architecture, and technology solutions. This person will be responsible for defining priorities, coordinating teams, managing delivery, and ensuring that technical solutions meet business objectives.

What you need:

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with technical and cross-functional teams.

  • Technical Knowledge
  • The candidate does not need to be a hands-on developer, but should have enough technical knowledge to effectively communicate with engineering teams and understand technical decisions. Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable:
  • Software development lifecycle
  • APIs and system integrations
  • Application architecture
  • Databases and data flows
  • Cloud and enterprise applications
  • CI/CD and software delivery processes
  • Version control
  • Testing and quality assurance processes
  • Application security fundamentals
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a: Technical Product Owner, Technical Project Manager, or Engineering Project Manager
  • Experience working with distributed or international teams.
  • Experience in enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or products simultaneously.
  • Experience working with software engineering teams.
  • Technical certification such as PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similaris a plus.
  • Experience with project and product management tools.
