Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for T&D/Substation to oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. You will develop plans, define scope, and manage scheduling and budgeting to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for clients in the utility sector.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' PM experience, a relevant engineering/Construction Management degree, and strong leadership and negotiation skills. On-site work with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience leading HV Transmission, Distribution, and/or Substation projects.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven budgeting, contract management, cost control, scheduling, and electrical utilities experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project plans, including defining scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee the installation of electrical utilities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may impact the project timeline or budget.
