Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects in New Albany, OH. This on-site, permanent role requires guiding projects from conception through completion while maintaining budget and schedule integrity.

You will oversee contracts, coordinate with clients and subs, and ensure safety standards. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in PM roles within HV transmission/distribution or substations and strong leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years as a Project Manager in electrical utilities or HV transmission/substation projects.
• Experience budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation of electrical utilities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits for quality and plan adherence.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues or delays impacting timeline or budget.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project plans, including defining scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee the installation of electrical utilities and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may impact the project timeline or budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience leading HV Transmission, Distribution, and/or Substation projects.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience in budgeting, contract management, cost control, scheduling, and electrical utilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
