Job summary

MYR Energy Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Project Manager, T&D to lead construction projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment.

You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining rigorous financial controls and reporting. Prior transmission line and substation MV/HV experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Prior transmission line and substation MV/HV experience required.
• EHV experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Oversee project lifecycle activities including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• Identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement proactive solutions to maintain project momentum and performance.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules that coordinate project phases, resources, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, anticipate potential delays, and implement adjustments to maintain overall project timelines.
• Maintain financial oversight of projects, including budget management, cost forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
• Evaluate project expenditures, manage change orders, and ensure accurate cost reporting and billing processes.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and identify opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication through regular project updates, status reports, and progress meetings.
