  • 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, specifically structural steel.
  • Proven cost analysis, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, risk assessment, negotiation, subcontracting, and blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of structural steel industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • PMP certification preferred.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our structural steel projects from inception to completion. The role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • 1. Oversee and manage all aspects of structural steel projects from the initial stages to completion.
  • 2. Conduct detailed cost analysis and budgeting to ensure the financial feasibility of projects.
  • 3. Develop comprehensive project schedules and timelines and ensure strict adherence to them.
  • 4. Carry out risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop contingency plans.
  • 5. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • 6. Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
  • 7. Ensure that all projects are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • 8. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans.
  • 9. Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project to track project progress and report on project status.
  • 10. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 3. Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, risk assessment, negotiation, subcontracting, and blueprint reading.
  • 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • 5. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • 6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • 8. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations relating to structural steel.
  • 9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • 10. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is preferred.
