Job Description

Bryce Space and Technology is seeking a dynamic and organized Project Manager/Strategy Coordinator to support strategic innovation efforts across the Department of the Air Force. This role will bridge project management execution with strategic alignment, ensuring programs and initiatives effectively drive innovation outcomes aligned with broader Department of Defense priorities.

The ideal candidate will combine program management discipline, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to support AFWERX leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Manage project planning, timelines, deliverables, and execution across AFWERX strategic initiatives.
2. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
3. Support the development and implementation of innovation strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics.
4. Track project progress, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and produce regular status updates.
5. Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
6. Prepare briefings, white papers, and reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
7. Organize and facilitate strategic planning workshops, innovation events, and stakeholder engagements.
8. Serve as a liaison between AFWERX leadership, program teams, and industry/government partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant project management experience, with at least 3 years supporting DoD or federal programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional PM methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience briefing senior leaders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-velocity, ambiguous environment.

Specialized Tool Experience: Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).

Additional Information

Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.

This position is subject to contract award.
