Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Project Manager for Steam and Condensate Systems to support the Tissue Service Business. You will manage project profitability, ensure on-time delivery, and maximize customer satisfaction from sale through warranty.

Travel up to 50% is expected as part of coordinating across locations in Green Bay, Biddeford and more. Ideal candidates hold a higher education degree in Mechanical/Technical/Pulp & Paper fields with 5+ years in project management.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Mechanical, Technical, Pulp and Paper or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project management or leading projects.
• Industry-related project management experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for profitability, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction from sale to warranty.
• Coordinate drawing/design activities and oversee project team to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Seek and process opportunities to extend value on assigned projects including estimates and proposals.
• Provide product feedback to managers for continuous improvement of design, costs and constructability.
