  • Preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress to ensure timely or ahead-of-schedule performance
  • Assessing resource requirements and coordinating with in-house staff, vendors, and subcontractors

  • Tracking proposal costs versus actual costs, ensuring projects stay on or below budget, and preparing financial reports and close-out documentation
  • Negotiating and managing purchases with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, including preparing purchase orders
  • Managing change orders, extra work orders, and claims, maintaining a change order log
  • Supervising the preparation of shop drawings, field measurements, and cut tickets, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
  • Supporting the accounting department with requisitions
  • Ensuring adherence to Artisan Stoneworks’ quality standards
  • Following company policies and maintaining commitments to clients and team members
  • Handling special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and competencies include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate efforts among team members and stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve issues
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel to various project sites, including out-of-state and overseas
  • Mathematical skills for measurements and basic conversions
