Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial MEP projects in Virginia. You will mentor future project managers, ensure safety, and collaborate with internal teams to meet project scope and schedule.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget oversight, and stakeholder coordination within a fast-paced, employee-owned environment. Virginia-based projects with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management or similar role.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops client relations by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
• Manages budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc.
• Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule.
• Develops budget analysis reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders and other reports as necessary.
• Delegates work and serves as mentor to Project Engineers; provides coaching and feedback.
