Location: On-site at Client Site in Washington, D.C.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 DOE
Authorization Status: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Clearance Requirements: Must be eligible to pass and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust Background Check (HSPD-12)
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, development, execution, and close‑out of interior projects to support the client’s brand and workplace innovation strategy.
- Schedule, estimate, and budget projects; develop scopes of work.
- Review and respond to submittals, requests for information (RFI), change orders, and design intent drawings.
- Coordinate moves, administer construction management, transfer documentation, and turn over to building O&M and branch staff.
- Coordinate with internal and external service providers and act as the point of contact for cross‑functional teams.
- Perform quality control to maintain standards throughout the project.
- Collaborate with on‑site contract staff on high‑visibility projects and initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain As‑Built drawings and update record drawings (AutoCAD, Revit, or IWMS) for all client space and drawing templates.
- Conduct site walks, client meetings, and coordination meetings with architects, engineers, AV/IT, general contractors, GSA project teams, and building management staff.
- Review project documents for compliance with plan, budget, schedule, and raise concerns or flag issues to agency staff.
- Maintain thorough records and report periodically on project status, risk, and progress.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Must be able to obtain an active HSPD‑12 public trust credential.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management, or equivalent discipline (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of related project management experience, including small to large interior builds, reconfigurations, or MAC projects with budgets of at least $500,000 or 50,000 RSF.
- General knowledge of commercial and government workplace design, GSA space assignment policy, and BOMA space standards.
- Expert knowledge of AutoCAD; ability to read construction documents and blueprints.
- Understanding and application of OSHA, ADA requirements, and building and safety codes.
- Experience with relocation or decommissioning projects is a plus.
- PMP, CCM, CACM, or CFM credentials are a plus.
- Technological skills: AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project or Primavera, ePM software such as Kahua, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ability to learn new planning and design software. Experience with IWMS or FM:Systems software is strongly desired.

Environment and Physical Conditions
The role requires ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations and remain stationary at least 50% of the time; move and access items up to 20 pounds. It involves constant computer use and close observation of details. The employee works in an office environment with artificial light and air.
