Job summary

Astute People recruitment agency is supporting the deployment of a Project Manager for a Deposit Return Scheme project across the South of England. The role is hybrid with travel to sites in the South West and Midlands, offering permanent or contract employment and a salary of £60,000-£70,000 per year.

The role requires NEC3/NEC4 contract administration, strong planning and coordination skills, and oversight of safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle on behalf of the client, from definition to delivery.
• Administer NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including compensation events and timelines.
• Coordinate planning, permitting, operations, councils and stakeholders for approvals.
• Develop scope, works information, tender packs, budgets, schedules and cost forecasts across M&E, civils and infra.
• Oversee site operations, contractor performance, health & safety compliance and regulations.
• Manage reporting, financial control, risk registers and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead project lifecycle end-to-end for client delivery.

Astute's Power team is partnering with leading Waste Management Company a to recruit a Project Manager to work on a Deposit Return Scheme across the South of England.

• Location: Hybrid - South West and Midlands


• Employment: Permanent or Contract


• Salary: £60,000-£70,000


• Contract Rate: Approximately £500-£550/day, Inside IR35


• Benefits: Private healthcare + car allowance/bonus package for permanent appointment
