We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee eCommerce website support and maintenance projects on Shopify Plus. This role requires end-to-end project lifecycle managementfrom scoping and planning to final delivery—while ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients to manage updates, security patches, performance optimization, and communication efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Project Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with project scope and SLAs
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Manage project risks and apply mitigation strategies
- Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules
- Implement change request processes to ensure minimal disruptions
2. Maintenance Planning and Tracking
- Plan and schedule website maintenance with technical teams
- Develop and maintain a maintenance calendar aligned with business objectives
- Prioritize issues by business impact and track resolutions
- Maintain accurate records of updates, patches, and performance improvements
3. Client Communication
- Clearly communicate updates and resolutions with clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related discussions
- Address feedback, concerns, and changes in a timely manner
4. Vendor Management
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized support and services
5. Quality Assurance
- Conduct QA reviews and implement quality control processes
- Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and technical standards
6. Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including plans, reports, issue logs, and change requests
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in website development project management
- 2+ years specifically managing Shopify Plus projects
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication (video call proficiency is a must)
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration
Add-on Qualities (Preferred but not required):
- PMP, Adobe Commerce Business Practitioner, or Shopify Certification
- Familiarity with Magento Cloud Commerce
- Knowledge of website performance, security, and maintenance best practices
