Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee eCommerce website support and maintenance projects on Shopify Plus. This role requires end-to-end project lifecycle managementfrom scoping and planning to final delivery—while ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients to manage updates, security patches, performance optimization, and communication efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overall Project Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with project scope and SLAs
  
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  
• Manage project risks and apply mitigation strategies
  
• Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to schedules
  
• Implement change request processes to ensure minimal disruptions
  

2. Maintenance Planning and Tracking

• Plan and schedule website maintenance with technical teams
  
• Develop and maintain a maintenance calendar aligned with business objectives
  
• Prioritize issues by business impact and track resolutions
  
• Maintain accurate records of updates, patches, and performance improvements
  

3. Client Communication

• Clearly communicate updates and resolutions with clients
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related discussions
  
• Address feedback, concerns, and changes in a timely manner
  

4. Vendor Management

• Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized support and services
  

5. Quality Assurance

• Conduct QA reviews and implement quality control processes
  
• Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and technical standards
  

6. Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation including plans, reports, issue logs, and change requests
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  
• 5+ years of experience in website development project management
  
• 2+ years specifically managing Shopify Plus projects
  
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
  
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies
  
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication (video call proficiency is a must)
  
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration
  

Add-on Qualities (Preferred but not required):

• PMP, Adobe Commerce Business Practitioner, or Shopify Certification
  
• Familiarity with Magento Cloud Commerce
  
• Knowledge of website performance, security, and maintenance best practices
