Job summary

NetJets, the global private aviation leader, is seeking a Project Manager in Corporate Real Estate to lead a broad range of real estate initiatives. This role will guide projects from inception to close-out, working with internal teams, stakeholders and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

The position requires 6–8 years of PM experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering or Business Administration, and PMP/CM credentials are a plus. Travel between locations is expected.

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to project manage a broad range of real estate related initiatives for NetJets' Corporate Real Estate team. This position is responsible for strategic leadership and tactical execution within the defined role and skillset. This position will report to the Director of Real Estate.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Manage from inception to close-out all assigned Corporate Real Estate project activities through close collaboration with team members, stakeholders and vendors utilizing sound project management processes project management tools, technics, and available resources
  • Maintain project plans inclusive of budget, scope, and schedule
  • Develop the project schedule in tandem with the internal and external stakeholders/ vendors
  • Establish the reporting process for communicating and documenting the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Establish the project tasks and the resources needed to implement the specific tasks with the assigned project or work
  • Set and continually manages project expectations with team members, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges of your projects
  • Responsible for coordinating efforts to provide solutions to mitigate any risks that involve either budget concerns and/or schedule concerns.
  • Present reports as needed/requested defining project progress, contingency issues, schedule issues and issues that affect operations of the Projects
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders through various communication tools and methods
  • Oversees and coordinates due diligence initiatives with internal and external partners.
  • Develop and implement policies, tools, and standards as a "best in class" construction project management organization.
  • Complete projects on time and budge
  • Assist team members with key stakeholder meetings to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals and charter, and ensure alignment with strategic objective
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Participates in preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures.
  • Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables
  • Responsible for collecting and documenting project closeout requirements.
  • Identify gaps in information gathering tools and develop processes to collect, track and report on information necessary for successful project delivery
