Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project Manager at our Morristown, NJ location to coordinate small- to medium-sized projects with financial impact from $100K to $2.5M. You will oversee billing, scheduling, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring safety policies are followed.

The role requires 1+ year of project management experience, familiarity with MS Office/Project, and English communication skills. A valid driver’s license and US work authorization are required.

• Technical experience in security access/CCTV industry.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The Project Manager facilitatesthe execution of project/program solutionplanfor clearly defined sub-projects or sub-programs.This rolerequires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects considered small to medium in complexity withfinancial impactbetween $100K and $2.5M.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Have fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible fordelivery of results for the respective process steps.
• Guidetechnical or administrative staff.
• Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs
• Contribute to continuous improvementplan.
• Performactiverole inmaintainingfunctionally focused client relationships.
• Be responsible forseveral small projects.
• Review project specifications,drawingsand project-specific documents to establish project intent.
• Develop andmaintaina project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team.Identifytime-sensitive installation needs.
• Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Review plans and specifications andparticipatein project cost reviews.
• Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
• Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
• Track resources andprojectsprogress.
• Document project events thatimpactthe schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
• Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate withAccountingteam and Operations Manager.
• Schedule project-specific commissioning resources andprovidescommissioning documentation.
• Expedite the return of project-specific mark-ups for as-built development.
• Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
• Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements.
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School or completed GED

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

• Technical experience in the commercial security access/CCTV industry
• 1+ years of experience managingprojects
• Knowledgeof industry-standard security communication protocols
• Must be 21 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements toparticipatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
• 5+ years of technical experience in the security access/CCTV industry
• SIA CSPM certification preferred

The pay range for this position is $82,610 - $141,617 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
