The Security Systems Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring they are developed, implemented, and installed according to strict safety, quality, and financial performance standards. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader with a strong background in telecommunications or technical construction, capable of managing multiple projects and driving profitability from bid to turnover.

Annual Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 Annually BOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage workload distribution and monitor project progress to ensure successful customer delivery.
- Monitor and maintain project profitability through diligent financial management and resource allocation.
- Review job cost postings for accuracy, including the preparation of invoices and financial reports.
- Oversee quality control and safety protocols for all customer-related work.
- Act as the primary company liaison for interface with customer representatives and stakeholders.
- Participate in the bid process and assist in developing competitive project proposals.
- Define project scopes, create detailed task lists, and manage projects to final completion.
- Implement process improvements to enhance account management and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate staffing, materials management, and vendor relationships for multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical construction field.
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical project documents.
- Experience defining project scopes, creating tasks, and managing projects to final customer turnover.
- Knowledge of trade tools such as 110/66 block punch tools, combo crimp tools, Krone/3M/BIX, butt sets, and volt-ohmmeters.
- Demonstrated skill in customer interface and acting as a liaison between clients and the company.
- Ability to travel within the branch and regional territory as needed.
- Must meet company minimum driving standards and be able to maintain a company-sponsored credit card.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use manual trade tools including punch tools (110 and 66 block) and 6/8 position combo crimp tools.
- Must be able to use technical testing equipment such as volt-ohmmeters, butt sets, and 4-pair continuity testers.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, and use hands/fingers to operate computers and specialized tools.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and complex reporting requirements.
- Ability to travel within the regional territory for job site inspections and meetings.
- Capable of managing multiple physical tasks and projects simultaneously in various environments.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
