Job summary

Synoptek is seeking a Project Manager - Salesforce to lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives, including implementation, integration, migration, and ongoing support. You will partner with clients, Salesforce architects, developers, QA, and business analysts to ensure on-time, in-scope deployments aligned to business goals.

The role requires strong planning, communication, and governance skills, with experience across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering Salesforce projects end-to-end across implementation, integration, migration, and support.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Salesforce project delivery across implementation, enhancement, integration, migration, and support initiatives.
• Lead project planning, scope definition, milestone tracking, effort estimation, resource coordination, and delivery governance.
• Coordinate with Salesforce architects, developers, functional consultants, QA teams, business analysts, DevOps teams, and client stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, business process discussions, fit-gap analysis, and project workshops.
• Translate business requirements into project plans, delivery tasks, timelines, and execution roadmaps.
• Manage Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery models based on project needs.
• Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, status meetings, backlog reviews, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning discussions.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, blockers, escalations, budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Manage stakeholder communication, project status reporting, executive updates, client expectations, and escalation handling.
• Oversee Salesforce configuration, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Coordinate QA testing, defect tracking, UAT planning, UAT support, business sign-offs, and production deployment readiness.
• Ensure delivery teams follow Salesforce best practices, SDLC processes, documentation standards, and security guidelines.
• Support Salesforce data migration planning, validation, reconciliation, and cutover coordination.
• Manage project documentation including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, meeting notes, functional documents, release notes, and closure documents.
• Monitor project health, team productivity, resource utilization, delivery KPIs, and client satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, delivery risks, process gaps, and improvement actions.
• Support onsite or remote client engagements, workshops, training coordination, and post-go-live support planning.

Project Manager - Salesforce is responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of Salesforce implementation, enhancement, integration, migration, and support projects. This role acts as the key liaison between clients, business stakeholders, internal delivery teams, Salesforce architects, developers, QA teams, and leadership to ensure successful project execution. The position oversees project planning, requirement coordination, delivery governance, stakeholder communication, risk management, documentation, UAT coordination, release readiness, and post-deployment support while ensuring Salesforce solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
