Lead customer delivery. Drive operational excellence. Strengthen customer success.
Join Ascom as a Project Manager (S&O) and play a key role in delivering customer-specific technical solutions and services from post-sale planning through successful implementation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, cross-functional coordination, project execution, and business impact.

As Project Manager, you will manage end-to-end customer projects, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers while coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that support revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and long-term customer loyalty.

Why This Role Matters

You will sit at the center of project delivery and customer success: leading technical solution and service delivery, managing project scope and risk, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to expected quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to Ascom’s business success by supporting successful implementations, sustainable customer relationships, and strong operational performance.

This role requires a strong balance of structure, communication, and problem-solving. You will work across departments, with external partners, and directly with customers to align expectations, resolve issues, manage changes, and keep projects moving forward.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead customer projects focused on technical solutions and service delivery, ensuring project objectives are met across scope, time, budget, and quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across functional areas, including Sales, Finance, Operations, external partners, and customers.
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory and quality processes and follow Ascom SOP processes and related sub-processes.
  • Plan and conduct projects according to established project management methods, principles, and frameworks.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, KPIs, RAID logs, issue logs, and other required project records.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to support successful project controlling and economic target achievement
  • Manage change requests and contractual adjustments in collaboration with Sales and Legal.
  • Conduct project reviews and identify opportunities to improve workflows, billing processes, project scopes, and business flow.
  • Support continuous improvement by proactively identifying inefficiencies and contributing to practical process optimizations.
What Sets You Up For Success
  • Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar field.
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, IPMA Level B, Scrum, or similar is beneficial.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in customer-facing technical projects.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the IT, telecommunications, or healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, project scoping, and resource coordination.
  • Experience using project planning and collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, ERP systems, ServiceNow, and D365.
  • Foundational understanding of Work Breakdown Structure methodologies, project dependencies, dependency matrices, and schedule impact communication
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand how project decisions impact revenue, margin, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage project-related commercial and legal topics in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, conflict management, and customer focus skills.
  • Ability to understand Ascom’s product portfolio, market dynamics, and relevant hardware and software solutions in the context of customer projects.
