The Project Manager works as part of a program management team managing programs for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) client. This involves overseeing multiple project types, generally limited in size, scope, and duration, acting as an extension of the owner’s design, construction, and maintenance staff, overseeing general contractors, designers, and vendors. Responsibilities include client project and program delivery, pre-construction services (bidding, permitting, scheduling), construction oversight (construction, change orders, invoicing, punch lists), and project closeout.

This is a remote role requiring recurring travel to project sites in Houston and San Antonio, with travel up to 30-60% as needed, including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be necessary to meet schedules in active retail locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage construction activities on-site
• Coordinate project team activities to ensure schedule and budget adherence
• Communicate proactively with senior management regarding project issues
• Review construction documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Analyze bid results, specifications, and reports to understand project details
• Verify permitting requirements
• Manage and monitor field work
• Handle change orders diligently
• Follow standards for reporting and documentation
• Prepare weekly project status reports
• Identify and address project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or quality
• Represent the company in project meetings
• Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster new opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in construction or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of relevant experience, particularly in ground-up restaurant construction
• Experience managing multi-site rollout projects

Pay & Benefits:

Salary range is $95,000 to $115,000, based on full-time schedule, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible paid time off, holidays, sick leave, and a 401K plan.
