Full-Time Remodeling Work Close to Home - Not Hours Down I-35
If you have proven residential remodeling experience and live in the Bell County area, this is an opportunity to lead projects you can be proud of without spending hours commuting to Austin.
A daily commute to Central Austin can easily take 2+ hours round trip-10-12 hours a week and more than 500 hours a year. That is time, fuel, vehicle wear, and energy you could be putting back into your life.
At Gill Construction, you can work closer to home, get your evenings back, and focus your time where it matters: delivering excellent remodeling projects for our clients.
Our $70,000-$95,000 base salary is aligned with the Bell County market, with additional performance-based bonus opportunities.
Gill Construction is a residential design-build remodeling firm built around craftsmanship, consistency, and accountability. We believe great projects come from clear communication, strong organization, and people who take ownership from start to finish.
Our team uses structured processes and construction management technology-including Buildertrend and JobTread to keep projects organized and moving forward. We value humility, accountability, collaboration, and doing what we say we will do.
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of remodel execution across multiple active projects, including:
We're looking for someone with 2-5 years of residential remodeling experience and a demonstrated ability to lead projects from planning through completion.
Your background is primarily ground-up new construction, production building, or tract development.
Residential remodeling requires a different skill set. Homeowners may be living in the property while work is underway. Existing conditions can change the plan as soon as a wall is opened, and projects of different sizes may be operating simultaneously at different stages.
If your experience has primarily been taking homes from bare dirt to completion according to a fixed plan, remodeling may feel unfamiliar. That's okay-but this role requires someone who understands the realities of renovation work.
If you're an experienced residential remodeling Project Manager who wants meaningful work, strong systems, and a shorter commute, we'd like to hear from you
Salary: $80000 - $90000 per year
