  • Minimum 2 years of residential construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing design-build or residential remodeling projects preferred.
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and construction documents.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential remodeling projects from pre-construction to completion.
  • Lead project kickoff and pre-construction meetings.
  • Coordinate subcontractor bidding and project buyout.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules tied to project milestones.
  • Manage budgets, invoices, change orders, and financial performance.
  • Coordinate daily activities between in-house carpentry crews and subcontractors.
  • Communicate proactively with homeowners throughout each phase of construction using project management software.
  • Monitor project quality, safety, and schedule performance.
  • Identify and resolve project issues before they impact timelines or customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability to field teams.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Lakeside’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Standard daytime hours with flexibility based on project schedules.
Work Location
  • Projects are located throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. Daily travel between active residential jobsites is required.
