Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-site implementation and rollout efforts for federal customers. You will own planning and execution of phased deployments across sites, coordinate stakeholders, track dependencies, and drive projects from setup through go-live.

Fully remote within the United States. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end implementations, validating configuration data, and maintaining a clear product roadmap while ensuring on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5-8 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-phase implementation projects.
• Experience across government and/or contractor/vendor environments.
• Strong issue triage and vendor management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in distributed teams.
• Experience gathering requirements, defining product roadmaps, and prioritizing a backlog.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage phased rollouts across multiple sites or business units, from initial setup through go-live.
• Coordinate with site and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and finalize required configuration data ahead of deployment.
• Track rollout schedules and dependencies to ensure deliverables are completed on time across all active waves or phases.
• Validate systems through test scenarios prior to go-live and confirm readiness with local stakeholders.
• Communicate proactively and clearly across distributed, cross-organizational teams.
• Determine escalation paths for time-sensitive issues and drive them to resolution.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders and translate them into a clear product roadmap.
• Define the product vision and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to business and mission goals.
• Partner with engineering, design, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through release.
• Use user feedback and data to inform product decisions and iterate on features over time.

In this role, you'll own the planning and execution of phased deployments across sites and business units, coordinating stakeholders, tracking dependencies, and driving projects from initial setup through go-live. This is a fully remote position within the United States.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing implementation projects end to end, keeping distributed teams aligned and deliverables on schedule across all active phases. Specific duties include:

• Plan and manage phased rollouts across multiple sites or business units, from initial setup through go-live
• Coordinate with site and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and finalize required configuration data ahead of deployment
• Track rollout schedules and dependencies to ensure deliverables are completed on time across all active waves or phases
• Validate systems through test scenarios prior to go-live and confirm readiness with local stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5-8 years of experience
  • relevant project management experience
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-phase implementation projects
• Proven ability to work across multiple organizations, including government and/or contractor/vendor environments
• Strong issue triage and vendor management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including in fast-paced, distributed team environments
• Experience gathering requirements, defining product roadmaps, and prioritizing a backlog

Clearance Required:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience

• PMP, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar project or product management certification
• Prior experience supporting federal or public-sector implementation programs
• Familiarity with coordinating go-live readiness across geographically distributed sites
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

Posted Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
