Project Manager ( Agile) is needed for a contract opportunity with our Energy Industry client located in Pennsylvania.

Job Details


Duration: 24 months initial contract
Start date: June 2025 subject to change
Location: Remote ( EST preferred)
Hourly pay rate: : $54.61-$66.37

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams through planning, execution, and delivery.


• Facilitate Agile ceremonies when needed: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.


• Help team set a methodology that works for the team and complexity of the project.


• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.


• Manage project budgets, resources, risks, and schedules.


• Ability to lead BAs and define work


• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog.


• Track and report on team performance using metrics (burn-down charts, velocity, Status reporting, etc.).


• Communicate project status and roadblocks to stakeholders and leadership.


• Champion Agile best practices and support continuous process improvement.


• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.


• Support change management, quality assurance, and release planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or Related work experience.


• 3+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in Agile environments.


• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, Agile setting.


• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).


• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MSP, Confluence).


• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.


• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, PMP


• Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.


• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD practices, and product lifecycle management.

Estimated Min Rate: $54.61
Estimated Max Rate: $66.37
