Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager for the Rail Track Team to lead delivery of complex rail projects from concept through completion. You will supervise track and civil design, manage schedules and budgets, and drive quality and risk management.

You will mentor teams, develop cost estimates, support business development, and build strong client relationships to secure future opportunities while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

  • PE license is required.
  • 8+ years of project experience in rail track design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, lead teams, and exceed client expectations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Job Description

As a Project Manager for Olsson’s Rail Track Team, you will lead the delivery of complex terminal and intermodal rail projects from concept through completion. Your responsibilities will include overseeing track and civil design efforts, managing project execution and schedules, conducting quality control reviews, and developing cost estimates. You’ll also contribute to scope development, support business development initiatives, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality across deliverables.
