Job summary

Olsson seeks an experienced Project Manager for its Rail Track Team in Omaha. You will lead complex terminal and intermodal rail projects from concept through completion, overseeing track and civil design, managing schedules and budgets, and delivering high-quality results.

You will mentor teams, develop cost estimates, support business development, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency across deliverables. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • PE license required.
  • 8+ years of project experience in rail track design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, lead teams, and exceed client expectations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Job Description

As a Project Manager for Olsson’s Rail Track Team, you will lead the delivery of complex terminal and intermodal rail projects from concept through completion. Your responsibilities will include overseeing track and civil design efforts, managing project execution and schedules, conducting quality control reviews, and developing cost estimates. You’ll also contribute to scope development, support business development initiatives, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality across deliverables.
