Job summary

Olsson Associates is seeking a Senior Engineer on the Water Resources team to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, support project scope and schedule, and prepare technical reports. The role includes CAD review, permit acquisition, and field visits across various terrains.

Travel is required. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in water resource engineering, a PE license, and at least 4 years leading or mentoring others.

Job Description

As a Senior Engineer on our Water Resources team, you will provide various engineering and project management duties related to hydrologic/hydraulic analysis for Class I Railroad projects. You will assist with developing the project scope and schedule, prepare technical reports, review CAD drawings, and obtain local, state, and federal permits for water resources related projects. Travel is required to job sites for field reconnaissance in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or other related hydrologic and hydraulic software is preferred.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

Colorado Pay Range

$100,000 — $130,000 USD
