Fortis Native Group LLC is interviewing for a Project Manager/Quality Control for a government contract with the US Army Corp of Engineers. The position is 100% onsite and requires experience in the janitorial service industry along with prior team supervisory experience.

The role demands leadership of a cleaning team, scheduling, training, asset/inventory management, and strict adherence to contract requirements. A clean background check and DMV record are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personnel management experience.
• QC qualifications, EM385 and OSHA 30 required.
• Thorough understanding of basic commercial janitorial practices.
• Clean DMV record.
• Understanding of general operational safety standards.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to complete routine facility cleaning.
• Create and adhere to monthly and annual service and work schedules.
• Train employees on work requirements, safety procedures, and other work-related items.
• Maintain Asset Logs and Inventory.
• Orders janitorial supplies to ensure each site is stocked; track inventory totals.
• Perform additional duties as required within contractual responsibilities.
• Follow the Performance Work Statement to ensure contractual obligations are met and attend reviews.
• Meet with clients to build rapport and resolve issues.
• Maintain grounds to green level per site maps.

The Project Manager/Quality Control will have experience in the Janitorial Service Industry as well as prior team supervisory experience. This position would be 100% onsite.

The Following Are Key Responsibilities Associated With This Position

• Must be able to lead a team to complete routine facility cleaning.
• Ability to create and adhere to monthly and annual periodic services and work schedules.
• Ability to train employees on the work requirements, safety procedures, and other work-related items.
• Maintains Asset Logs and Inventory.
• Orders janitorial supplies to ensure each site is stocked sufficiently. Tracks inventory totals.
• Perform any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities.
• Follow the Performance Work Statement requirements to ensure all contractual obligations are met. Attend periodic performance reviews to ensure compliance.
• Meet with clients to build a positive rapport and to resolve any issues.
• The Contractor shall ensure all grounds owned by the user are maintained at green level, unless otherwise indicated on the site maps.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-years of personnel management experience.
• QC qualifications, EM385 and OSHA 30 required
• A thorough understanding of basic commercial janitorial practices.
• Clean DMV Record.
• Understanding of general operational safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must be computer proficient, with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
