Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is expanding its building‑related services and is seeking a Project Manager with experience in building code and life safety reviews, building condition assessment, evaluation of building mechanical and structural systems, and life cycle cost estimating. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access regulations and remedial work for establishing accessible routes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Property Condition Assessments (PCA) for a variety of building types, from 1‑story retail and high‑rise towers to warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial parks.
• Develop refinance, equity, and capital planning PCA reports.
• Create immediate repair cost tables, capital reserves cost schedules, and narrative report writing.
• Identify and design remedial measures to address building system deficiencies.
• Conduct ADA accessibility reviews and develop remedial measures.
• Prepare construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Provide construction support services.
• Prepare construction draw reports and conduct site inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields.
• Architectural license is a plus but not required.
• LEED accreditation is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) permitting and approvals.
