Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for directing and performing consulting, design, or construction management services for assigned projects, ensuring work aligns with project objectives, performance metrics (e.g., client satisfaction, profitability), and quality standards. Key responsibilities include safety, subcontractor management, change management, project control and reporting, staffing, adherence to quality plans, budgets, and schedules. The Project Manager also manages client relationships to create positive experiences that foster future opportunities and is accountable for project financial performance. This role may involve managing single or multiple projects.

This position can be filled at either the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Note: This position requires weekday onsite presence at the Jefferson, WI job site, providing hands-on leadership to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee consulting, design, or construction management services, ensuring alignment with project goals, performance metrics, and quality standards.
  • Manage critical project areas including safety, subcontractors, change management, project control, staffing, quality, budgets, and schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster future collaboration.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution across all phases.
  • Obtain and maintain relevant industry certifications such as PMP or AECPMA to enhance project management practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a design firm or field construction environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to foster collaboration, and experience managing complex projects involving process equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of core engineering disciplines, project execution, and delivery processes in design and construction.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience as an Assistant Project Manager or in a lead role managing specific areas of expertise.
