Job summary

MM Packaging in Clayton, NC seeks a Project Manager – Print Production to lead client orders from inception to shipping. You will manage proofs, revisions, pricing requests, and cross‑functional collaboration with sales and operations to meet client expectations.

Job description

To strengthen our Client Services Team in Clayton, we are looking for a passionate Project Manager – Print Production.
Your Role
  • Receive and process routine and complex client orders.
  • Respond to inquiries and/or customer issues related to orders.
  • Maintain positive ongoing relationships with customers and sales staff.
  • Utilize knowledge of products, logistics, production planning, and inventory management to ensure that client orders are fulfilled on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Manage the proofing process, including requesting revisions to graphics and client approvals.
  • Generate job tickets in the ERP system.
  • Assure that client product specifications are followed and updated as applicable.
  • Submit requests for quotes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate client meetings, if needed.
  • Own the project from the front‑end through shipping.
  • Track on‑time deliverables or client press checks, as needed.
  • Occasionally travel for on‑site meetings, etc.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure that client orders are fulfilled on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their orders.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that clients may have.
  • Ensure that all project‑specific requirements are met, such as tracking of on‑time deliverables or client press checks.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance the client experience and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of client orders and communications.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
