Job summary

Emerson Power & Water Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead automation and control system projects across power, water and industrial markets. You will manage multi‑million dollar initiatives, serve as the customer contact, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and field teams to deliver complex, mission‑critical solutions.

The role requires at least 3 years in project management, a technical degree, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project engineering or project management.
• Experience leading projects involving engineered systems or industrial environments.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and control system projects from initiation to closeout across power, water and industrial markets.
• Manage projects from roughly $500k to $10M+ with scope, schedule, budget, risk, and performance accountability.
• Serve as primary customer contact, build relationships, and negotiate contracts and changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, field service and commercial teams to deliver projects.
• Monitor progress, communicate status and risks, and ensure safety, cybersecurity and quality commitments.
• Support proposal development and planning with execution strategies and risk assessments.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and follow-on work.
