Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Waipahu, HI is seeking a Project Manager to oversee engine-related projects within the sales and delivery process. You will prepare cost proposals, submittals, and schedules for EPG, Industrial, and Marine markets, and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (engineering degree preferred) or equivalent with strong communication, multi-project management, and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Strong PC skills
• Clear written and spoken communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to communicate technical information about environmental permitting, electrical performance, and mechanical system installation

Responsibilities

• Manages generator/ATS projects
• Coordinates with suppliers on startups and commissioning
• Develops deliverables: O&Ms, test plans/reports, installation packages, training agendas
• Attends internal/external meetings and records minutes
• Provides field support including commissioning and troubleshooting
• Manages projects to meet deadlines and communicates status to stakeholders
