Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Waipahu, HI seeks a Project Manager to oversee generator/ATS projects within HPC. You will prepare cost proposals, submittals, and schedules, and perform engineering analysis for engine systems with Caterpillar, Olympian, and other guidelines.

Reports to Sr Project Manager and collaborates with engineering and operations to meet deadlines. Strong communication and multitasking skills required; extensive field support and site coordination needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5 years’ experience in power generation or construction preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with computer tools and Autocad.

Responsibilities

• Manages generator/ATS projects.
• Maintains and manages all Project Manager related responsibilities ensuring efficiency.
• Coordinates with suppliers on startups and commissioning.
• Develops deliverables to include O&Ms, Test Plans, Test Reports, Installation Packages, and Training Agendas.
• Provides field support including commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support on generators and ATS.
